Tuba Day Ok, so I go to this CSUN Tuba Day thing last night because Ulises invites me to play. I get there and it is all big old men that play the tuba. (Duh, what else was I expecting). A few other high schoolers are there, and I was worried since I haven't played in almost 3 weeks that I would be really horrible. But from what I could hear, the guy next to me was way worse than me, I think he goes to Granada Hills... haha. Then all the CSUN tuba players tried to convince me to go there next year. NO WAY! I hate that place. Sure, being better than a few people was nice and the idea of a Tuba Day is swell... but not worth it if I have to attend CSUN!!!!MaudeLOVESHarold, April 17, 2002 at 5:22:10 PM CEST
Wayne Shorter & Alan Pasqua/Peter Erskine Trio Just bought my tickest for the L.A. Jazz Festival. Wish I could go see Sonny Rollins tonight, but I have a paper to do! But I have tickets for Wayne Shorter & the Alan Pasqua/Peter Erskine Trio. So I guess that's OK. Not to shabby for $18. Writing ruins everything...
